Whether you’re a keen swimmer, or just keen to spectate, the Noosa Summer Swim is a must do or see event. Get ready for a festival atmosphere that Noosa Main Beach can always deliver!
The Noosa Summer Swim is on Sunday 20 February. All the swim courses start and finish in the heart of Main Beach at Noosa Heads in front of the iconic Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving Club. Therefore, supporters and spectators can easily enjoy the action from one beautiful location.
This super Sunday of swims ranges from the 300m Junior Giants to the Noosa 5km marathon. There will be a diverse range of abilities taking part – from first timers to seasoned swimmers, and current Australian representatives.
Which swimming course will you choose?

Junior Giants (300m)
The Junior Giants swim is for kids aged 8 – 16 years and offers a great opportunity to compete with swimmers their own age. Family and friends can share the experience and swim the course alongside the kids in the 300m dash.
Noosa 1.0 (Short Course)
The calm and sheltered waters of Noosa Main Beach are excellent for all abilities, so this short course is an ideal first event swim.
Noosa 2.0 (Long Course)
The Noosa 2.0km is the most popular course that takes swimmers out and back from Noosa Main Beach towards the Noosa National Park. For anyone doing their first long course event, there’s an option to start with friends and other weekend warriors in the Mates Wave.
Noosa 3.0 (Long Course)
For those wanting a new challenge, then the 3km course could be your next training goal. This course has an extra lap of the 2km course.
Noosa 5.0 (Marathon)
This is the big one! This 5km course is taken on by some of Australia’s most talented pool and open water swimmers, and international guests. The multi-lap course around the sheltered waters of Noosa Main Beach will push your limits beyond the typical open water distances.
